Live Below the Line with our MUN delegates (Day 2)

Today is my second day of Live Below the Line. I organized how much I can eat each day on Sunday, but I decided that I would cook my food from day to day so I could choose what to eat each day. Today I ate a banana for breakfast then I ate some pasta which I cooked with salt and butter for lunch. In the picture below is my dinner which consisted of two eggs and two slices cooked in salted butter, they melted on the cooking pan with a pinch of salt. With it, I also ate some of the pasta I had leftover from lunch. The most challenging thing for me is that I am used to eating very different foods from day to day but because I have a limited number of ingredients I am not able to have a diverse diet which becomes dull at times. For tomorrow I started making bread by mixing the dough, this evening. I am going to leave to rest overnight and will proceed to cook it tomorrow afternoon, and I made the dough with water, flour, and salt. For lunch, I’ll probably make myself a sandwich with salted butter and ham. Thanks to Live Below the Line I am starting to understand what it means to spend very little money to eat, and I am starting to realize how much I spend on food in a typical day.
